Previous Judging Days have revealed some inspirational stories and some great examples of good and innovative practice.

Take for example the winner of The Care Newcomer Award for the East of England, Roxanne Kenton from Stowlangtoft Healthcare near Kings Lynn in Norfolk.  Despite immense personal difficulties Roxanne has forged a career in the care sector, going above and beyond to deliver quality, person centred care.  At the Judging Day for the National Finals, Professor Martin Green, Chief Executive of Care England, who was a judge on this category, was so impressed by Roxanne that he made a personal visit to meet with her, her colleagues and the service users that nominated Roxanne at the care home where she works.

If you or a colleague would be interested in attending one or more of these events as a Judge please contact catherine@care-awards.co.uk for more information.
