BIIAB are delighted and honoured to be a partner for The Great British Care Awards – 2018; to support, positively promote and celebrate the great work of Assessors in Health and Social Care.
As an Awarding Organisation and End Point Assessment Organisation, BIIAB develop sector specific, relevant and ‘fit for purpose’ assessments, learner support materials and qualifications to support the Health and Social Care and Childcare sectors.
With the largest workforce in the country, Health and Social Care and Childcare continue to be key sectors for BIIAB. We know that the sector continues to grow, both in the number of patients and care users, as well as the number of people require to work in the sector. A caring, compassionate and well trained workforce will be critical to meet the demands in the short, medium and long term for the sector. Recruitment and retention of staff are key issues for most business. Identifying role models, leaders and inspirational people within Care and showcasing their achievements, will contribute to the promotion of attractive and progressive career opportunities.
Recognising and rewarding the achievements of people working within our sector through the Great British Care Awards, is an excellent opportunity in which BIIAB is proud to be involved.
