The Good Commissioner Award
This Award will be given to the Commissioning Authority who places fairness, consideration and a user focus at the centre of its dealings with providers. Commissioners can be nominated by single or multiple providers on the basis of services given through contracts over a period of at least 12 months. The judges will be looking for examples of partnership working, fairness, good communication, a proactive approach to training and funding initiatives and developing best practice. The Commissioner must agree to be nominated.
