 About the awards

The Ceretas National Home Care Awards has taken on a new name.

The Great British Home Care Awards. Ceretas are delighted to join forces with the Great British Care Awards, organisers of the regional awards throughout the UK for the social care sector. Winners of the regional finals held in the Autumn of 2009, together with winners from regions that were not yet represented by the awards, will be invited to attend the Great British Home Care Awards finals at the Guildhall in London on 15th May.

The Great British Care Awards are a celebration of excellence across the care sector. The purpose of the awards is to promote best practice within the sector and pay tribute to those individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work.

There are a total of twelve awards categories, representing all areas of the care sector, whether it be older people or specialist services. From frontline staff such as care workers and care managers to people who have made an impact in other ways such as training, IT and innovation.

Winners from the regional awards held in 2009 to Spring 2010 for some categories have already been invited to attend the national finals. Categories still requiring nominations are listed on the nomination form.

As a partner of the Great British National Home Care Awards you will be given a complimentary table at the event to which you will be able to invite key contacts. The event will act as an unique networking event aswell as affording a huge publicity opportunity both locally and nationally.

The awards will have this dedicated web page on the care awards web site, www.care-awards.co.uk.  Your organisation’s branding will appear on the web site, all publicity material, nomination forms and editorial.  Branding will also be prominent at the event on the evening and will appear in the awards souvenir programme together with full page advertisement or editorial feature.

About the nominations

The Awards aim to benefit individuals, organisations and sponsors. By nominating a colleague individuals will be supporting their dedication and commitment whilst also helping to raise the profile of the care sector as a whole.

Organisations who nominate their employees will be demonstrating pride in their hard work and excellence. The awards also present an excellent publicity opportunity. Should a nominee be successful, the company and their guests will have the chance to attend a superb gala dinner - what better way to raise the profile of an organisation and motivate their staff!

About the gala event

All the finalists will be invited to attend a spectacular gala dinner at the Guildhall, London on Saturday, 15th May, where the winners will be announced. The gala dinner will include a champagne reception, dinner with presenter Keith Chegwin and entertainment.
