The Great Yorkshire and Humberside Care Awards Tonight!

The Great Yorkshire and Humberside Care Awards are going from strength to strength.
Both local BBC Radio and some Commercial Radio Stations including Stray FM are covering the event today.
The BBC will also be in attendance at the event.
Delighted carers from across Yorkshire and Humberside will be presented with awards at their very own ‘Oscar’ ceremony.
At a glittering evening in York, 22 winners will receive their awards at the Great Yorkshire and Humberside Care Awards.
Celebrating its fourth year, the event will bigger and better than ever, with more awards, more entries and more than 600 entrants, guests and VIPs at the National Railway Museum.
The awards will presented by popular comedienne Jenny Éclair.
Organisers say the ceremony is the perfect antidote to the current doom and gloom in the care sector.
