The Great British Care Awards has officially announced the dates for its 2026 regional awards, giving care providers, teams and individuals across the UK the opportunity to mark their calendars for one of the sector’s most anticipated celebrations.
Taking place across 11 regions, the regional awards recognise the outstanding achievements of those working in social care, celebrating the compassion, innovation and dedication that make a difference to the lives of people every day.
The dates and locations for the regional awards are as follows:
East of England – MK Dons, 30th October 2026
Yorkshire and Humber – Royal Armouries Leeds, 6th November 2026
West Midlands – ICC Birmingham, 7th November 2026
Wales – Cardiff Holland House Hotel, 11th November 2026
North West – Kimpton Manchester, 14th November 2026
Scotland – Voco Grand Central Glasgow by IHG, 16th November 2026
South West – Ashton Gate Bristol, 19th November 2026
South East – Double Tree Brighton, 20th November 2026
London – Hilton Bankside, 21st November 2026
East Midlands – EMCC Nottingham, 23rd November 2026
North East – Grand Hotel Gosforth Park Newcastle, 26th November 2026
The regional ceremonies will bring together finalists, colleagues and sector leaders to honour excellence across a wide range of award categories, with winners progressing to the Great British Care Awards National Final.
With nominations now open, organisations and individuals are encouraged to submit their entries and recognise the exceptional people and teams who go above and beyond in delivering outstanding care.
Nominations close on the 28th of August 2026.
